This is a classic backpack I bought new in 1976. It's one of the iconic pieces that came out of the mind of Yvon Chouinard when he was still the prime mover in terms of design. His ideas hold up very well to this day.
A Creag Dubh sold on eBay on March 15. 2021 for 95. It was in better condition than the one you're looking at but it's indicative of the appeal and value of a vintage Chouinard pack.
This is a rare opportunity to own a functional piece of climbing history.
Condition is "Used".
The interior has orange waterproofing still remaining. I've left it alone so the pack stays in original condition; some owners may appreciate the patina. The new owner can easily remove the orange stuff so that it does not peel off in every day use.
